The Subdivision 

      Only 1and 1/2 mile from Dayton Pike and

Hy 27 lies Falling Water Heights, a restricted

development of upscale homes.  The main road,

Rocky Ledge Drive wines though phase I and II,

previously sold out, before reaching phase III

at a higher elevation.  This phase has only been

accessible since 2002 with the construction

of a much higher water tank.  As the homes

have been built though phases I and II and

now into phase III, the quality, size, and price

have risen.  Today the newer houses are in the

400 to 600 thousand range.  The average size

of  the lots is over one acre.  Each lot "For Sale"

is marked with the approximate size and lot number.

Most lots have mature hardwood trees and some

have giant boulders for unique landscaping opportunities.  

Wildlife abounds in the subdivison and adjaciant 3500

acre wilderness area.  Panoramic vistas are seen from

most of these available lots with a scene which stretches

all the way to the smokies.  Other community

amenities include an awesome landscaped

entrance, hiking trails, and a pool and

clubhouse planned for the immediate future. 

       The Location and Surroundings 

      Falling Water is a totally bedroom community

of Chattanooga sitting in Hamilton County

between the city limits of Chattanooga and

Soddy Daisy.  It is not in the growth plan of

Chattanooga and is in the plan for Soddy Daisy,

but not in the first ten years.  This means that

the subdivision will never be annexed by

Chattanooga.  Soddy Daisy's policy of annexation

is to annex only if a majority of the voters

in the area to be annexed approve. Falling Water

has houses and about six churches.  The subdivision

is only 12 minutes to downtown Chattanooga and 7

minutes to Northgate and 5 minutes to the new

SuperWalmart.  It is bounded on the north and

west by the North Chickamauga Creek Wilderness

area.  This is a 3500 acre reserve owned by the

State of  Tennessee.  For an unparalleled

hiking/exploring/recreation experience check

this out, and right on the border of the subdivision. 

Hike the gorge, swim the creek, find rare flowers,

and just have a wonderful time communing with

nature. Other community amenities include an

awesome landscaped entrance, hiking trails, and

a pool and clubhouse planned for the immediate future.
